Keeping children and young people who are in care connected with their families is important to foster positive family relationships. Thrive offers supervised contact and transport for those we care for, supporting structured and safe visitation with a strong focus on building and maintaining family relationships.
Our Supervised Contact workers are committed to the child or young person’s needs and ensure a safe and tailored visit. They take comprehensive factual and observational notes routinely throughout the visits and provide written reports as needed.
Our Thrive workers are skilled in liaising with case work teams, children and young people, and vulnerable families living within our local community. When transporting children and young people for their visitations, age-appropriate child restraints are used as needed as part of ensuring safe transport arrangements for our families.
